Some background
Years ago I took part in a Co-op Tea Swap, where tea lovers exchanged mystery packets of interesting teas by mail. It worked well and was really fun.
Back in the before time, when setting up events or workshops, I always tried to include a give-away, where participants would bring something to give away and then leave with a personal “souvenir” of the event. I still keep some interesting things from those and they have a bit of extra meaning because of that. And what if they continue to circulate at other give-aways? They just might find their way back home to their original owner!
The random give-away surprise exchange combines the best of both of these. Hope you like it!
How we will play
Send me your name and mailing address by Thursday, May 26th. (How? Just reply to this email, or email me directly)
After May 26th, I’ll email you the address of your randomly selected give-away partner.
Decide on your giveaway item.
Mail the gift to them no later than Thursday, June 9th.
Watch your mailbox. Yes, your physical analog mailbox. You’ll receive something personal, unexpected and surprising in June.

Our give-away is open to all subscribers - free and paid.
Don’t buy something new, and keep it small.
Send a little something you’re ready to let go of - book, jewellery, tea, fun item, small decorative je ne sais quoi, something with a bit of history.
Add a note for the receiver about the gift, if you like.
Get your small package into the mail by June 9th.
I’ll keep the list of everyone who wants to play, and let you know who you’ll be mailing to. Then it’s over to you to complete your part of the game. Your only cost is postage. Let me know if cross-border sending is okay with you. If not, I’ll try to match you with a subscriber in your own country.
