Amuse-bouche #2
The second in my incidental series of short bite-sized bits to take us into the New Year.
Welcome back, old man winter!
This pic has been making the rounds on the interwebs for years now, and still going strong!
I love seeing all the faces in nature, and resonant echoing forms and formations. Is it anthropomorphic projection from a particular state of mind, or is it an appearance through matter of something normally unseen? How many layers of image and form are actually in existence between my eyes and what I think I may be seeing?
Here he is again, a dressed up version of the winter shaman in USSR. Now that’s a fancy Santa!
Speaking of Winter, or I should say Winterson, take a peek at Jeanette Winterson’s latest Mid-Week Musing. Yes, she’s musing on Christmas, memories and second chances and the dimensional shift.

I do resonate to this. Trees and old stumps are the best message bringers, from Time, Earth, the Ancestors. I always love this picture of Old Man Winter.
"How many layers of image and form are actually in existence between my eyes and what I think I may be seeing?" That really grabbed me. Expanded my field of vision.
