“leans into microphone” Not yet going places and doing things but the impulse of spring is irresistible. I’m still hermit-like, thinking about the big brain change we are all about to experience. We can’t take it lightly, this new implementation of AI into all aspects of our screen world.
I didn't think about perfume until one day out of the blue I had a really vivid mental picture of an ex-g/f, complete with her house, face, voice, everything. Wondering why that had happened, I realised that my mother was wearing the same perfume as my ex always wore. I was fascinated by the brain's tendency to set off a train of associations on the smallest of stimulii. Since then I've paid more attention to scent :-)
Loved the Perfumed Collage. Yes am still committed to reading thank heavens. Loved ‘the Hare with Amber Eyes so much!! edmund De Waal (Favourite book this year). Just this week finished his The White road - his fabulous book on porcelain and also ‘ Letters to Camondo’ on the Musee Nissim De Camondo in Paris. Keep up your good work……..am not such an AI fan.
Do you really have a perfume collection? I admire that...and love the phrase "networked exterior nervous system." That wording gives me a strange peace..as though it's "out there" but I don't have to bring it "in here" where my soul is flourishing.
Really enjoyed reading this. Felt mystical and magical and with the historical and picturesque anecdotes to the challenging g world of AI in this day and age we are living in; very relevant to my personal experiences with AI and frankly the adjustments to my everyday life of the past
How delightful, your concerns about AI are also very present with me. Bewildering really. Yet Spring did arrive and with that a huge sigh of release- with aging, winter walking is treacherous, I have been let out of the cage, and loving it. love and light, Laverne
Thank you for this mystical mythopoetic view of the AI challenge arising all around us now. Be well, be very well, in the clouds or rest on fresh green grasses...

Thanks once again for the inspiration! I will register for the Essentials course via Prometheus...
