Hello dear friends! Finally I’m catching up with a quick dispatch, all about moving. Pockets of Coziness Before moving, we progressed daily in order and chaos, shuffling along the corridors created by piles of our things. Throughout the days I found small pockets of coziness to remind me of a usual life. When the move became more immanent, I was at sea with boxes floating all around me, and nowhere to stand for very long. Just as I settled in one spot, boxes grew into looming high towers, reducing the pathway to just enough space to walk, reminding me of the hoarder’s newspaper stacks in
And now Nature will begin Her work. Before you know it we will be hearing about animal friends that live near by, the fire that warms and greets you on cold mornings offering wisdom, changing water patterns on the sea ... I feel excited for your journey into the interconnected magic of the new world all around you. So happy you are there.
A wonderful spot on earth. Good for you! We fell in love with Salt Spring Island a few years ago before our move to France. I ran into Rafi and sang "Une poule blanche" with him there in the market. We went to visit the seed-saver woman and are still planting seeds in our garden in the Ariege that are originally from her seeds. Some were even seeds she had found from almost extinct vegetables that originated with Jean-Baptiste de La Quintinie, the director of the royal fruit and vegetable gardens at Versaille in the 17th century. So many interconnections in this teaming planetary life! Be well. You are surrounded by beauty. Thank you for your writing.
